OOT On January 24^th, Project FOOT came to Company 4.

Project FOOT is a project to raise awareness for veteran’s causes. To do this, Mac McQuown, a 50 year old retired Marine, is walking to every state capital in the United States. This journey will last in excess of 5 years and cover more than 15,000 miles.

On Tuesday, Namozine proudly had Mac stay the night after he finished his day’s walk and prepared for the next leg of the walk. It was quite an honor to play a small part in his endeavor and we wish Mac a safe and prosperous journey as he works to help our Nation’s soldiers. We thank Mac for sharing his trek with us and hope that we did not disturb his rest too much when a chimney fire call caused a bit of commotion.
